by Rebecca Norman, Graduate Assistant, UALR Lead Center

Entrepreneurs who are interested in the available options for securing seed funding for their technology-based ventures may benefit from attending the National Association of Seed Venture Funds (NASVF) international conference. The NASVF conference will be held on September 14-16, 2009, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The NASVF Conference is a venue for entrepreneurs, seed and early-stage fund managers, angel investment leaders, and other experts to share best strategies and tools for building and managing strategic investment programs and institutions. The conference will address the types of technologies that are being funded at the state and federal levels. Participants can meet with specialized practitioners and discuss new methods of promoting capital formation.

Conference registration costs are: $60 for students, $600 for NASVF members, and $750 for entrepreneurs and NASVF non-members. For more information about the NASVF conference, or to register online, visit http://www.nasvf.org.
