SSTI to Hold Annual Conference in October

The State Science & Technology Institute (SSTI) will have their 13th Annual Conference from October 21-23, 2009 in Overland Park, Kansas. The focus of this year's conference is technology-based economic development (TBED) for the next economy. The conference will address major topics in TBED though workshops and breakout sessions.

The SSTI conference offers a strong networking opportunity for individuals working in the areas of science and technology. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to discuss with technological leaders how TBED can address the challenges and opportunities that face the nation's innovation system. Registration may be done online through the STTI conference website. Management and staff of SSTI's member organizations are entitled to a $150 discount on the price of regular registration. Hotel accommodations can also be arranged through the STTI conference website.
