Business Matchmaking is coming to Little Rock
by Cozetta Jones, Graduate Assistant, UALR Lead Center

Business Matchmaking, the nation’s leading public-private sector procurement program for small business, will complete its 2007 schedule with a South-Central Regional event in Little Rock on December 11 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Statehouse Convention Center.

This event will offer an opportunity for small businesses to participate in procurement opportunities offered by government agencies and major corporations. The program unites education, training, counseling, key resources and tools with actual face-to-face and "virtual" matchmaking meeting opportunities with procurement representatives from the public and private sector.

There is no cost to participate in Business Matchmaking; however the following eligibility requirements must be verified prior to registration: your business must possess a D-U-N-S number and your business must be currently registered in the Central Contractor(CCR) database. Registration for Business Matchmaking also requires a registration code that may be obtained by calling 1-800-994-4762, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. You will be asked to verify your business' D-U-N-S Number and registration in CCR when you call to obtain a registration pass code.

For more information about this event and to register log onto www.businessmatchmaking.com.
