NOAA FY2008 SBIR Solicitation Due Soon

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, recently issued a presolicitation notice for its upcoming FY 2008 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. The announcement indicates that NOAA expects to issue the full SBIR solicitation on or about October 17, 2007. Awards to successful competitors will be for a performance period of six months and budgets up to $95,000. NOAA will seek proposals from small businesses for Phase I research in the following topical areas:

• Ecosystems
• Climate
• Weather and Water
• Commerce and Transportation
