Rogers Hosts November Venture Conference

The John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers will host the 5th annual Arkansas Venture Conference. The November 16-17 program offers 10 Arkansas firms the chance to present their funding opportunities to several hundred attendees. The conference will also include sessions that offer information about entrepreneurial success, building high-value Arkansas-based companies that generate new and better jobs, and venture capital sources and their investing aims.
The program includes addresses by three prominent leaders from the ranks of the nation's growth and entrepreneurial ventures. Dan Sanker, CEO and Founder of CaseStack, will describe his experiences in "Commercialization - the Journey from $1 to $65M in Six Years." Konnin Tam, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, will present his "Perspectives on Private Equity Investing in the Global Energy and Alternative Energy Sector." Tom Szaky, Founder of TerraCycle, Inc., will describe his journey in creating a firm identified by Inc. magazine as "America's Coolest Little Start-Up."
The conference typically attracts entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors, economic developers, policy leaders and service providers.
