Disaster Loan Filing Deadlines and Declared Areas

The SBA has Fact Sheets for each declared disaster area. These fact sheets specify by state which counties or parishes are included in the declared disaster area for each loan type. Additionally, fact sheets provide the loan application filing deadlines by loan type.

Filing deadlines for Hurricane Katrina:
Physical Damage to Business - October 28, 2005
Economic Injury - May 29, 2006

Filing deadlines for Hurricane Rita:
Physical Damage to Business - November 23, 2005
Economic Injury - June 26, 2006
