Final Call for October 14 Technology Conference

Innovation to Commercialization: Forging Arkansas' Future in Technology is the topic for a one-day conference this Thursday in Fayetteville. The Arkansas Small Business Development Center's Regional Office at the University of Arkansas is a co-sponsor with the UA Innovation Incubator. The session will be held at the GENESIS Technology Incubator, 700 Research Center Blvd. from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The $40 registration fee includes lunch. This conference will focus on assisting new and existing technology companies in expanding commercialization success through a grant program offered by eleven departments and agencies of the United States government. Nationally recognized figures involved in SBIR/STTR will be making presentations during the day-long conference. Also, attendees will be involved in an interactive workshop and will have an opportunity to schedule one-on-one appointments with SBIR program managers from the National Science Foundation and the Air Force. Local program representatives will also be on hand to answer questions and provide resources.
