Internet Marketing / Search Engine Optimization Tool Instructions
Enter the address (URL) of the web page to be analyzed. Please copy and paste the URL as this is the most accurate method. Typing often results in errors and will result in analysis of the resulting error page. You'll find the address in the address bar at the top of your browser.
Enter the keyword, words, or phrase, if any. Single keywords are most effective. Word stems are best. For example, the word “search” matches "search searcher, searches, searched, searching, and searchable" Keyword stemming is most effective on large search engines like Google and Yahoo!
Click the "Analyze" button. We'll send our webserver out to fetch the page you entered. Next, we'll break the page down into parts. Finally, we'll compare your keyword(s) to each of the parts and tell you what we found.
Due to heavy Internet traffic at the university during weekday business hours, your results may be momentarily delayed. That's what happens when most of our 11,000 students all get on the Internet at the same time on one network.
